Love your neighbor as yourself. (Leviticus 19:18)
Justice, justice shall you pursue. (Deuteronomy 16:20)
Be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah, even if it be against yourselves or
parents and relatives... follow not [personal] inclination, lest you not be just. (Quran 4:135)
Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all
your mind... And love your neighbor as yourself. (Matthew 22:37-39)
We, the members of the Sharon Interfaith Clergy Association, commit ourselves publicly to the ongoing work of anti-racism, both individually and as a peer group.
We commit to deep listening to one another and to members of the community on issues of racism, prejudice, and implicit bias.
We commit to taking risks both individually and as a group in speaking up and speaking out for diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice.
We commit to supporting concrete efforts in pursuit of racial justice in our congregations, in the town of Sharon, and in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
We commit to striving together to fulfill Martin Luther King’s vision of beloved community.
We agree to revisit this covenant annually each January, to reaffirm our commitments and invite new clergy to join us in this work.

Community Support Liaison, JF&CS
Hi, my name is Talia and I am a social worker from JF&CS, as well as a member here at Young Israel of Sharon. In my JF&CS role as Community Support Liaison, I work with synagogues to help connect their members with resources for themselves and their families. JF&CS offers resources that serve the community across the lifespan from infancy to end of life. Types of resources and support include but are not limited to financial assistance, mental health, case management, disability services, food insecurity, domestic abuse, aging support, and referrals to services. In addition to working with individuals and families, I work to facilitate meaningful and engaging programming for the communities I serve. Please reach out anytime. I would love to connect with you.
